When given the option to make a song book I knew right away which song I would choose. Wither by Frank Ocean had been haunting me since I first heard it with its somber yet delicate lyrics depicting someones life in terms of a plant growing and then withering away. I also thought i would be interesting to play off of a deeper meaning to the title which can also be read as With Her. 

I decided on going full illustration with this piece after spending a few hours to try and making photo collages to accompany the lyrics. Illustration is deeply personal to me and I thought that since this song has been rattling around in my head for a few months it deserves the most attention I can give.
